Top 10 books to read

As you may or may not know, I love reading. I try to read almost every day, and I try to read new content too. So today I decided to share my 10 Favourite books, which I love to read and wish I could read again. I hope you like some of them and decide to try them. Enjoy :

Harry Potter: A series of fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling.The books revolve around a boy named Harry Potter, along with his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, they all attend Hogwarts, a school of witchcraft and wizardry. The central conflict in the book is that of Harry and Lord Voldemort, A dark and evil wizard who wants to become immortal and overthrow the ministry of magic. Follow Harry and his friends on a journey of a lifetime.

Chronicles of Narnia: A series of 7 fantasy Novels by C.S Lewis. The books are about a land beyond ours Narnia. Ruled by the Mighty Lion, known as Aslan. The books also follow four kids, Lucy, Susan, Edmund, and Peter. The story has many villains through the course of the books, and the books are very entertaining to read.

Princess Academy: A book about a girl named Miri, who lives on a mountainside village, for generations, her family, and her ancestors have quarried stone and lived a simple life, But word comes that the prince’s future wife will be chosen from their small village. The king’s ministers set up an academy on the mountain, where all teenage girls, should learn, how to become a princess. There are many challenges for everyone. But will Miri overcome them and win her heart’s desires.

The Breadwinner:  A book based on the struggle of the Afghan women and girls.It Follows a girl called Parvana, who isn’t allowed to go outside or go to school. She lives in a 1 room house with her Parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Even though life is hard, Parvana tries her best to cope with it, until her father is taken away then, she realises that she must do what it takes to provide food for their family. She must become the Breadwinner for the family. A fantastic tale written by Deborah Ellis.

Greenglass House and Ghosts of Greenglass: Thrilling books based on a rambling old Inn, friendships, guests, Theft and Mystery. Follow Milo in his journey of unravelling secrets and uncovering identities of people who are, not what they seem. Fantastic books for Middle graders to read.

Mockingbird: Caitlin’s world has always been black and white. She’s an 11-year old girl with Asperger Syndrome, which makes it hard for her to understand emotions but also the world around her. Her brother, Devon always helped her, but now he’s dead. Now Caitlin’s world is turning upside down until she reads the meaning of “Closure” and realises that’s what she needs. Embark on a journey towards Closure, where Caitlins realises that In between Black and white are shades of grey and that’s what makes life beautiful. A beautiful book written by Kathryn Erskine.

The Gideon Trilogy: A three book series with a fantastic plot. Written by Linda Buckley Archer. The books embark on a trip through time. Peter Schock and Kate Dyer are taken back in time, involving an accident with an antigravity machine. They come across many people but the most important Gideon Seymour, a skilled cutpurse yet a faithful friend. There enemy Tar – man, who takes the anti-gravity machine, the only chance of Peter and Kate returning home.

Three Act Tragedy:  An amazing Murder novel written by Agatha Christie. Following Hercule Poirot with his legendary case solving instincts but will he be able to explain this one. Murder without a Motive and a murderer on the loose.  Sir Charles regrets his decision of a dinner party when Stephen Babbington is found dead, choking on his cocktail but when the glass is examined, no traces of Poison are found. A murder novel worth your time.

The A.B.C Murder: Another truly thrilling Murder novel by Agatha Christie, Once again Following the legendary Hercule Poirot. A serial killer on the Loose, making his way from the Alphabet,  A is for Mrs Ascher in Andover, B is for Betty Barnard in Bexhill, C is for Sir Carmichael Clarke in Churston. With each murder, the Killer is getting more Confident- but leaving behind a trail deliberate clues to taunt Hercule Poirot might just prove to be the first, and fatal mistake.

Dork Diaries: If you’ve read Diary of a Wimpy Kid, then you are going to like this too. These are series of diaries of a girl. Nikki Maxwell. A nerd and a dork, follow her on her journey of middle school and unbelievable things. If you are looking to relax or maybe just read something easy for now, then these books are perfect for you.
