Review of Harry Potter and Philosophers Stone.

Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone is the first book, in the Harry Potter series and is widely famous all around the world. Written by J.k. Rowling and Published on 26 June 1997. The book also celebrated its 20th anniversary last June.

Harry Potter, a boy who discovers on his eleventh birthday that he is an orphaned child of two people with Magical powers who were murdered by an evil wizard and that he will be leaving his aunt and Uncle to go to Hogwarts, a school of witchcraft and Wizardry. He makes two friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Through the year, he finds out a lot about himself and his parents. Around the end of the first year, he and his friends go to save a stone, which if in the wrong hands can cause problems for the wizarding world. Harry, Ron and Hermione go through a series of traps which test each of their abilities. In the end, Harry and his friends save the stone from going into the wrong hands.

Harry lived with his Bossy Uncle Vernon, His skinny and unkind aunt Petunia, his fat and ungrateful cousin Dudley Dursley. His friends included the prankster Weasley twin Fred and George, his Generous and sweet friend Ron Weasley, his bossy and kind friend Hermione Granger and a Half-giant Rubeus Hagrid.

The story’s progression from the starting to Harry’s journey of self-discovery and friendship. Rowling wonderfully writes the story about a boy who knew nothing about himself, discovers everything around him and how he appreciates every little thing around him.

We read the story from Harry’s perspective exploring his choices, his thoughts and things around him. Something that’s better about the book than the movie is that we read about the kids stressing over homework which is entirely relatable.

The story is terrific, and it has touched millions of people’s hearts all around the world. I started reading Novels and Books because of this book. This book showed things I had never seen, and I became a part of an alternate Universe where things were different yet the same.

I would recommend this book to kids and adults who love Fantasy and would like to explore an entirely new world. J.K Rowling is a Phenomenal writer, whose writing gave people a unique perspective of the entire world. In this book, we learned that there will always be things worth fighting for.

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” Albus Dumbledore.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for Reading.
